Helge and Martin Ingebrigtsvold talk about exciting and busy days at the lab.
“Our job involves analyzing oil products as part of the operation and maintenance of larger machines. We work a lot towards the maritime industry, transport, aviation and industry. Simply put, we can say that all those who have machines that can be lubricated are potential customers.
The primary tasks of the laboratory are to perform technical testing and analysis of oil products and cooling water. On request, the laboratory also carries out consulting activities. According to Ingebrigtsvold, they have several exciting future plans, including to be at the forefront of the green shift.
“We are working on a project in collaboration with SINTEF related to degradable oils. We are in front of a green shift in the oil industry as well and we want to be in the driver's seat here. We want to help provide our customers with the best solutions. In addition, we have several exciting projects going on with larger clients,” Martin adds.
The company has customers from all over the world, and is one of the largest independent oil labs in Norway.
“Our biggest competitors are the oil companies' own laboratories, which are often located on the continent in cities like Paris and the like. In this sense, it is great that we can serve customers from all over the world from our laboratory in Rørvik,” Ingebrigtsvold concludes.
