Submission of samples

Oil samples should be sent to the laboratory in pre-franked envelopes. Envelopes will be sent to you upon request to us. Alternatively, the oil samples can be sent to the Norwegian Petroleum Laboratory, Postboks 103, 7901 Rørvik.

Keep this in mind:

• Take oil samples on disposable bottles. We need 50 ml for the analysis of lubricating oil, 100 ml for hydraulic oil/cooling water and 100 ml for diesel.
• When submitting a component for the first time, we recommend that it be sent with a reference oil/pure sample of the same type of oil used on the component.
• Attach an email address to which the condition report will be sent.
