Norsk Oljelaboratorium AS ( Nolab ) is located in Rørvik in Nærøysund municipality , and has provided analysis services and consulting to companies all over the world since 2001. We are specialists in technical testing and analysis of oil products and cooling water – regardless of industry or application.

Our core business is to contribute to the safe and efficient operation of mechanical equipment through targeted testing, condition-based maintenance, reporting and consulting. The results of our analyses are used to prevent breakdowns, reduce maintenance costs and extend the life of equipment. In short: We help our customers make good decisions – before small problems develop into big ones.

The laboratory is certified according to NS-EN ISO 9001:2015 , and in recent years we have invested in modern analysis equipment and an updated machinery park. Our employees have extensive experience and solid interdisciplinary expertise in, among other things, chemistry, biology, materials technology and operation and maintenance. This gives us a good basis for delivering precise analyses with high professional integrity.
