pH measurement in aqueous samples or emulsions provides insight into the acidity of the liquid, which in turn affects corrosion and chemical stability. This is important in coolants, water-based lubricants and washing liquids.
The sample is measured with an accurate electrode, and the result tells whether the liquid is acidic, neutral or alkaline.
The customer receives an answer as to whether the liquid is still within the recommended pH range, or whether replenishment, replacement or adjustment is needed to avoid damage to the system.
