Martin Ingebrigtsvold

 – Our job involves a lot of analyzing oil products as part of the operation and maintenance of larger machines. We work a lot with the maritime industry, transportation, aviation and industry. Simply put, we can say that everyone who has machines that can be lubricated is a potential customer.

The laboratory's primary tasks are to perform technical testing and analysis of oil products and cooling water. Upon request, the laboratory also performs consulting services. According to Ingebrigtsvold, they have several exciting future plans, including being at the forefront of the green shift.

 – We are working on a project in collaboration with SINTEF related to degradable oils. We are facing a green shift in the oil industry as well, and we want to be in the driving seat here. We will help provide our customers with the best solutions. In addition, we have several exciting projects underway with larger customers, adds Martin.

The company has customers from all over the world, and is one of the largest independent oil labs in Norway.

 – Our biggest competitors are the oil companies' own laboratories, which are often located on the continent in cities like Paris and the like. In that sense, it's great that we can serve customers from all over the world from our laboratory in Rørvik , concludes Ingebrigtsvold.
