Chloride content is an important measurement in aqueous fluids and cooling water. High chloride content can lead to pitting and severe corrosion, especially in stainless steel systems.

The measurement is done chemically by titration or with an ion-selective electrode for precision.

The result makes it possible to take action before corrosion occurs. The customer can adjust water treatment and monitor for external contamination.
