Measuring ranges:

Flash point measured using the open cup method provides information about the temperature at which oil vapors can ignite in open air. This is used to assess the fire and explosion hazard of liquids with low boiling points.

The sample is slowly heated in an open dish, and a flame is passed over the surface at regular intervals to record the antenna temperature.

The customer receives an important safety measure and can use the result for risk assessment when storing, handling and using the oil.
