Freezing point

Standards:
ASTM D3321
Unit:
°C
Sample volume :
Measuring ranges:

The freezing point indicates the lowest temperature at which a fluid can still be used without freezing or losing its flowability. This is especially important in coolants, fuels and hydraulic oils in cold environments.

The measurement is made by controlled cooling of the sample until the first signs of crystallization are observed.

The customer receives confirmation that the fluid can withstand the climate in which it will operate, and can thus take precautions before winter operation or Arctic operations.
