pH measurement in aqueous samples or emulsions provides insight into the acidity of the fluid, which in turn affects corrosion and chemical stability. This is important in coolants, water-based lubricants and washing fluids.
The sample is measured with an accurate electrode, and the result tells whether the liquid is acidic, neutral or basic.
The customer receives an answer as to whether the fluid is still within the recommended pH range, or whether it needs to be topped up, replaced or adjusted to avoid damage to the system.
